Late flowering means plants which flower significantly later than the yardstick of the common british nivalis.
It is easy to overlook them amongst the ever expanding variety of plants as Spring advances. Nonetheless, many are very striking and they all have novelty value - being pristine snowdrops long after people expect them to be gone.
