Silverwells is an Atkinsii type snowdrop that originated at Edrom Nursery in Berwickshire in the 1980's from whence it was distributed. As a result it is relatively common in Scotland.
The flowers are always perfect, never aberrant and with us it is slightly smaller and slightly later than true Atkinsii.
