Magnet possesses relatively large flowers which hang down on long arching pedicels. These move in the slighest breeze and make the plant easily recognised; even from a distance.
Magnet has been shown to be a triploid and is one of the oldest varieties, having been selected by James Allen in 1897.
Our stock came from Noel Pritchard, who bought it many years ago from Elizabeth Strangman.
