The variety of the spring snowflake with yellow tips to the floral segments. This variety is less inclined to build into large clumps but spreads when happy by seeding. It comes true from seed and strong bulbs often bear two flowers on each scape.

Our stock came from an old garden in Peebles and old policy woodlands in North East Scotland. Both stocks appeared identical and have long since been amalgamated.
